How to Place an Order on Jumia

Step: 1 Search the item you want to buy

Once you click on the Shop on Jumia button from your JForce account dashboard, you will be redirected to the Jumia online shopping home page where you can either choose a category or just search in the bar what you want to buy.

Once you search you will get results on multiple pages from which you can scroll through and read the product descriptions to choose the item of your choice.

Step 2: Add the Item to the Shopping Cart

Once you have found the item you are looking for, just click on the Add to Cart button to add the product to your shopping basket. You will see a notification that you have added the item to the card and the number of items you have added.

You still have an option in the shopping basket to remove or add items before you can check out.

Step 3: Proceed to Checkout

The checkout process begins by you choosing the address to which your item will be delivered.

Step 4: Change the Address to the Client's

If you are placing the order on behalf of someone, you will need to change the address to theirs by Clicking on the Change button at the top left of the default address.

Step 5: Choose a Delivery Method

The next step is for you to choose a delivery method for your product. Whether you want to pick it up from one of Jumia's Pickup stations or if you want it delivered to your doorstep.

Step 6: Choose a Payment Method

The payment method is the last step in this process, all you need is to have the right amount on your phone. However, you can also choose to pay on delivery, this is option is available depending on the address and pickup option you entered.

If you are placing an order for someone, make sure they have enough funds on their account before you continue to the next step.

Step 7: Confirm Payment and Wait for Confirmation Message

You can change the number to the clients by clicking on the Change Payment Method button and putting in the Client's number intended for payment.

Once the payment goes through, you will receive a confirmation message on both your Jumia account and your mobile phone. You might also receive a call in some cases from one of the Jumia sales representatives to confirm the order.

You can track the item's delivery process from your Jumia account and from your email address. Check the email sent to you after confirming the order.
